Weare Leo, Sophia, Nick, and Emma – two couples who have been close friends formany years. Our friendship is characterized by shared experiences and manyloving traditions, including making Advent calendars for our partners. Eachyear, we have put a lot of time and effort into creating unique Adventcalendars filled with handwritten letters, loving cards, small gifts, and muchmore. These calendars have brought out partners a great deal of joy, and madethe Christmas season a very special time for us. However, as beautiful as thistradition has been, it’s always involved a lot of effort. Making thesecalendars has not only been time-consuming, but also expensive. So the questionarose: why should just one person receive the joy and surprises from our Adventcalendars? This shared experience is something that could make the Holidayseason even more special for other couples, and help them bond more. So wefound a solution: we’ve created an Advent calendar that is stress-free andaffordable, and which will bring joy to other couples. We hope that it bringmany other couples even closer together, as it has us.

We- Leo and Nick - took matters into our own hands to create the perfect Adventcalendar for our friends. Our aim was to create a calendar that would not onlybring joy, but would also encourage more interaction and shared experiences. Atthe same time, the calendar shouldn’t require too much time and effort duringthe stressful Holiday season. We sat down together and started with the firstdrafts. These initial designs were discarded, because they were eitherimpractical, too expensive to implement, too time-consuming to produce, orsimply too complicated to use. But we didn't give up. We worked on making ourvision a reality, and kept experimenting with new ideas and concepts. Afternumerous attempts and a lot of discarded concepts, we finally succeeded indeveloping the perfect Advent calendar. And it wasn't just one calendar: wecreated two calendars that were perfectly coordinated, but still individually uniqueand complementary. Each calendar contained lovingly designed surprises,challenges, tasks, dates, questions, and much more, which were coordinated witheach other and ensured that couples could share experiences. We surprised ourgirlfriends with these calendars — and they were absolutely thrilled! They toldtheir friends about them, and they soon asked if they could have a similarcalendar next year. The following year, demand increased to such an extent thatwe decided to open our own online store, mistletoemoments.com. Since then, it’sbeen our annual tradition to sit down as a team of four and completely redesignand optimize these Advent calendars. We receive feedback from our customers andcontinuously work to expand and improve the Couple’s Advent Calendar. Today, we’reproud that mistletoemoments.com reaches so many people, and helps them to enjoythe Holiday season together in a stress-free way.
